Alcast Foundry produces all different types of cores in house for more complex castings.  A core is a bonded sand insert placed in the mold to form an undercut or hollow section in the casting.  We produce cores with the following methods.

 COLD BAKE

Silica Sand, Sodium Silicate Resin Cores, CO2 gas set. 

Many different core coatings offered for smoothest finish possible.

 HOT BAKE

Silica Sand Shell Cores.
